Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary while providing superior customer service to all patients. Travel to additional sites when needed and handle administrative and clerical duties as required. This role operates at a Patient Service Center or Client office in Saint Louis, MO, with a Monday-Friday schedule and rotating Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday- Friday. 7:00am-4:00pm rotating Saturdays every 3rd 8:00am-12:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
