Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, enter patient data accurately, and process billing information. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service at the Patient Service Center or Client office. Travel to additional sites as needed. Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:30pm with rotating weekend Saturdays every 4-6 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm
- Rotating weekends every 4-6 week Saturday rotation 7:00am-12:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
