Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while performing accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required, maintaining patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients while handling administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm with rotating Saturdays, with flexibility for overtime. This role may be located in a Patient Service Center, Client Office, or Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 6 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist
