Job Summary

Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, then prepare them for testing and analysis. Enter patient information accurately into the system, process billing, and collect payments as required. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service to all visitors. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm with rotating Saturdays possible. This role serves as the face of the company in a fast-paced office setting, offering opportunities for continuous growth and a quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications

  • 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
  • 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)
  • Current or prior LabCorp experience
