Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner, process billing information and collect payments when required, and prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs, provide superior customer service to all patients, and handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm, with additional hours and rotating weekends as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License
- Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to attend 2‐week training in California
- Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm
- Additional hours and rotating weekends as required
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist
