Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, then process billing information and collect payments. Enter patient data accurately and timely, prepare specimens for testing, and maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required and work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with additional hours or days available. This role supports Labcorp's mission to improve health outcomes through diagnostic testing and data-driven innovation.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 1 year or more experience as a Phlebotomist
- 1 or more years of experience with pediatric through geriatric patients
