Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information and collect payments as required, while providing superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with every fourth Saturday off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
