Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist needed to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups at Labcorp, including collection of specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Responsibilities include data entry of patient information, processing billing information and collecting payments when required, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining patient/specimen logs, providing superior customer service, and performing administrative/clerical duties as necessary. Some travel to additional sites is required. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or GED or equivalent. Preferred qualifications: at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience or Phlebotomy certification/completion of an accredited training program. Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work overtime. May be eligible for PST incentive plan. Role will be in Patient Service Centers or Client offices with on-site requirements and potential benefits for those scheduled to work 20+ hours per week.
