Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, process billing, and prepare samples for analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service as the face of the company. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties. Requires Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with a schedule of Monday-Thursday and rotating Friday/Saturday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday-Thursday 8:00am-3:00pm, rotating Friday/Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
