Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, enter patient data accurately, process billing information, and maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients while handling administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed and work Monday-Friday 8am-12pm. This role supports Labcorp's mission to advance diagnostics and improve health outcomes through advanced laboratory services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
