Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Enter patient data accurately, process billing, and prepare specimens for analysis while maintaining logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, with additional hours or rotating Saturdays possible. This role supports Labcorp's mission to advance diagnostics and improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced office environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment
- 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)
- Current or prior LabCorp experience
