Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information, collect payments, and enter patient data accurately while maintaining specimen logs. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis, provide superior customer service to all patients, and handle administrative duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work part-time Monday through Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role supports Labcorp's global network of laboratory services by delivering vital health insights to healthcare providers and patients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
