Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient information and process billing information and payments as necessary. Provide superior customer service to all patients and handle administrative and clerical duties. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 10:30am to 7:00pm with rotating weekend shifts from 5:30am to 9:00am. This role is based in Brown Deer, WI, within a Patient Service Center or Client office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
