Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, prepare them for processing, and maintain accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient data timely and process billing information while collecting payments as necessary. Provide superior customer service to patients and handle administrative duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm with rotating Saturdays from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday – Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm and rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
