Job Summary
Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all ages at client offices; collect specimens for drug screens and paternity tests; data entry of patient information; process billing information; prepare specimens for testing; maintain logs; provide excellent customer service; travel to additional sites as needed; schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; located in Mount Vernon, IL.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
