Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 11:00am, with additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
- Valid driver's license (implied by 'Travel to additional sites when needed')
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
- 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy
