Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, enter patient data accurately, process billing information, maintain specimen logs, and provide exceptional customer service. Role may involve traveling to additional sites. Work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm with potential rotating Saturdays. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years\' phlebotomy experience preferred in a clinical/hospital environment
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
- Current color blindness test acceptable
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
