Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist at Labcorp in Escondido, CA. Responsibilities include performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, data entry of patient information, processing billing information and collecting payments when required, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining logs, providing exceptional patient service, and performing administrative duties. Travel to additional sites may be required. Requires strong communication and customer-service skills; ability to work independently or in a team; willingness to attend a two-week training in California.
