Job Summary
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, enter patient data accurately, and process billing information. Prepare specimens for analysis, maintain patient logs, and provide superior customer service. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties. Work Monday through Friday with rotational Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to travel to additional sites when needed
- Must be able to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
- Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
- Must have exceptional customer service
- Must have strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
- Must be comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Be at least 21 years of age
