Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Enter patient data accurately and process billing while maintaining specimen logs. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis, and travel to additional sites when needed. Provide superior customer service as the face of the company in our Patient Service Center. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
