Job Summary
Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, perform accurate data entry of patient information, and process billing and payments. Prepare specimens for analysis and maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm with rotating Saturdays from 7:00am to 11:00am in a Patient Service Center or Client office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm and rotating Saturdays 7:00am - 11:00am
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
