Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information, collect payments, and enter patient data accurately while maintaining logs. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis, and provide superior customer service to all patients. Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary, and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 5:15 pm, with additional hours as required. This role is based in a Client Office in Lenexa, KS, where you serve as the face of the company. Phlebotomists may be eligible for a quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Travel to additional sites when needed
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 5:15 pm; additional days/hours as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
