Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter data accurately. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary while providing superior customer service. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm in a client office environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Phlebotomist
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment
