Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Accurately enter patient data, process billing information, and collect payments while maintaining patient and specimen logs. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis, fulfilling administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed to support operations. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm in a Patient Service Center or Client office in Talbott, TN. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization and potential participation in the PST Incentive Plan.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
