Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist needed at Labcorp in Mission Viejo, CA. Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, data entry of patient information, processing billing information, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining patient/specimen logs, delivering superior customer service, and performing administrative duties. Travel to additional sites may be required. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent and a valid California phlebotomy license; preferred: 1+ month experience and/or prior Labcorp experience; ability to pass a color blindness test; strong communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team; flexible regarding overtime; willingness to attend 2-week training in California. In lieu of license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.
