Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter patient information accurately. Process billing information, collect payments, and handle administrative duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed and provide superior customer service to all patients. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 4:30pm with rotating Saturday shifts, with hours that may vary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program
- 6 months' or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
