Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process patient data entry, handle billing and payments, and prepare specimens for testing while maintaining accurate logs. Provide superior customer service and complete administrative duties as needed, including travel to additional sites. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within Labcorp's global network of laboratory services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- 1 year or more of clinical experience in geriatric care
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
