Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, process billing, and prepare samples for testing while maintaining patient logs. Provide superior customer service to patients and handle administrative duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Work Monday through Friday 8:00am–2:30pm with rotating Saturdays 7:00am–12:00pm. Earn $17.75–$26.00 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
