Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and paternity tests, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information, collect payments, and prepare specimens for testing while maintaining patient logs. Deliver superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed. Work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm, with overtime available. Requires Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Travel to additional sites when needed
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
