Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Enter patient data accurately and timely, process billing information and payments, and prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service to all patients. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties as necessary. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm. Phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
