Phlebotomist I (Part time)

Job Summary
As a Phlebotomist I, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintain high customer service levels, and ensure a professional and safe environment for donors. Responsibilities include preparing for and performing venipunctures, operating plasmapheresis machines, monitoring donor conditions, maintaining supplies, and adhering to safety protocols. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, some medical experience, and strong customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent (GED) required
- Any specific certification or licensing based on State requirements
- Minimum three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Documentation of training appropriate for duties, prior to performing duties independently
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal protocol
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English
- Ability to perform venipunctures
- Demonstrates consistency and reliability (good attendance, punctual, apply full effort throughout shift, flexibility with assigned schedule)
