Job Summary
Join Octapharma Plasma as a Phlebotomist I, responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and providing a positive donor experience. Key tasks include performing venipunctures and plasma collection, maintaining inventory, operating automated plasmapheresis machines, and reporting unsafe conditions. Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma, have strong customer service skills, and be able to function in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Any specific certification or licensing based on State requirements
- Minimum three (3) months' experience in a medical or health care environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal protocol
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety regulations and operating instructions
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English
- Ability to perform venipunctures
- Effective communication skills
