Job Summary
As a Phlebotomist I, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service and donor experience. You will be responsible for setting up equipment for venipuncture, executing plasma collection, monitoring donor safety, and maintaining cleanliness in the work area. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred, and training documentation must be completed before independent work.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal protocol
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to make accurate and complete documentation
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform venipunctures
