Phlebotomist I

Draw and collect venous and capillary specimens from patients using Standard Operating Procedures and aseptic technique across inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform bedside testing, verify patient records, and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Conduct finger pricks to draw blood and may interview donors, take vital signs, and test blood samples at the blood bank. Provide instruction to students and personnel while performing laboratory-related duties as requested by the Manager. Work 40 weekly hours in a 750-bed medical center featuring a nationally recognized Children's Hospital and elite cancer center.
