Job Summary
As a Phlebotomist I, you will ensure operations are compliant with regulations and maintain a positive donor experience. Responsibilities include preparing equipment for venipuncture, executing plasma collection, monitoring donor conditions, maintaining cleanliness, and performing routine maintenance on automated plasmapheresis machines. You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, customer service skills, and the ability to accurately document procedures. Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for daytime and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Completion of training documentation appropriate for duties
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to perform venipunctures
- Effective communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in a medical or health care environment preferred
- Certification based on State requirements
