Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient data timely and process billing information and payments as required. Provide superior customer service to patients and perform administrative duties. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work a 7 days on/7 days off schedule from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- 7 days on/7 days off schedule
- 5:00 am - 3:00 pm shift
Desired Qualifications
- 2 or more years' experience as an in-patient phlebotomist
- Current or Previous LabCorp experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
