Job Summary
Phlebotomist at Osborn Medical Center engages in phlebotomy and related office tasks. Responsibilities include organizing blood draw requests (traumas, STATs, ASAP, TIMED, morning draws, and routine requests), operating the hospital tube system, receiving outpatient specimens, verifying patient identification, using the Hospital Information System to order/cancel/add lab tests and retrieve patient information, labeling and distributing specimens, greeting visitors and coordinating communications, handling mail, maintaining equipment and supplies, and assisting with the training and supervision coordination with nursing when the Team Leader is unavailable. Required Qualifications

- 6 months experience (preferred for Network Float Pool)
- Phlebotomy experience
