Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist at Grifols in a California plasma center. Primary responsibilities include assisting in determining donor suitability, establishing rapport and ensuring donor happiness and confidentiality, responding to donor reactions, monitoring donor health and product quality, setting up and operating automated plasmapheresis machines, and safely disposing of contaminated equipment. Candidate should be patient, reliable, and committed to donor comfort, with exposure to biological fluids and laboratory equipment; repetition of standing/walking duties, fine motor tasks, PPE usage, and ability to follow oral/written instructions. Requires a High School diploma or GED and applicable state licensures or certifications where appropriate; flexible schedule.
