Phlebotomist (Full-time, Monday - Friday, 12:00pm-8:30pm)

Job Summary
Greet and identify patients, then perform venipuncture, dermal skin specimen collections, therapeutic phlebotomy, and blood culture collections using aseptic technique. Adhere to proper labeling requirements, prepare specimens for transport, and assist with troubleshooting equipment. Document specimen information in the laboratory information system, clean and maintain equipment, and assist with specimen processing and distribution. Comply with HIPAA, accreditation rules, safety, and infection control guidelines while communicating effectively with internal and external customers. This role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and supports the region's only Level II trauma center and five Centers of Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Desired Qualifications
- National phlebotomy certification
- Previous experience in an acute hospital setting or phlebotomy role
