Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, enter patient data accurately, process billing, and maintain specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to patients at Patient Service Centers, Client offices, or Hospitals, while traveling to additional sites as needed. Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record, with reliable transportation required. This casual/per diem float role in San Antonio, TX, offers quarterly incentive bonuses and travel incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Good driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
