Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information, collect payments, and enter patient data accurately. Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service. Travel to additional sites as needed with reliable transportation. This casual/per diem role requires a valid driver's license, age 21 or older, and flexibility for overtime. Candidates with phlebotomy certification and one year of experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Good driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program and 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
