Job Summary
Conduct patient registration, order entry, and phlebotomy while processing and delivering specimens. Perform specimen pick-up in offices, sort reports, and deliver supplies to support Lab Services operations. Complete required phlebotomy training within 90 days of hire and maintain certification eligibility. Work rotating days and Saturdays in a 367-bed regional medical center serving Tacoma, WA, with competitive pay ranging from $24.40 to $37.14.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current Medical Assistant-Certified, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomy Certification, or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible - must complete the training and submit application within 90 days of hire
- Completion of phlebotomy course or training
- Phlebotomy experience
- Previous experience dealing with the public
