Job Summary
Float Phlebotomist collects blood samples by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, prepares specimens for testing, enters patient data, processes billing information, and provides superior customer service. The role involves travel to additional sites and performing administrative/clerical duties as needed. Phlebotomists may participate in incentive programs and receive travel-related compensation; position requires flexibility to work varied hours and to meet testing needs across sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- Be 21 years of age or older
