Job Summary
Float Phlebotomist position at LabCorp in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture and capillary blood collections across age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens and other tests, data entry of patient information, specimen processing, and maintaining logs; occasional travel to additional sites with overtime and weekend rotation as needed. Emphasis on delivering superior customer service, handling administrative/clerical duties, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or accredited training is required if no experience. Preferred: 2+ years phlebotomy experience in clinical/hospital settings and 1+ year experience with all age groups; valid driver’s license; ability to travel; strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital environment
- 1+ years' experience assisting patients across age ranges (pediatric to geriatric)
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
- Ability to pass a color blindness test
- Ability to travel to multiple sites (Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be 21 years or older
