Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process patient data entry accurately, handle billing and payment collection, and prepare specimens for analysis while maintaining patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as needed, including travel to additional sites. Requires high school diploma, one year phlebotomy experience, and a valid driver's license. Monday through Friday hours vary between 7:00am-8:30pm with rotating weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- At least 21 years' old
