Phlebotomist (FDC)

Draw blood and obtain specimens from patients with minimum discomfort for clinical laboratory analyses, verifying patient identity before every collection. Perform venipuncture, finger/heel sticks, nasal swabs, and blood cultures while ensuring proper tube selection and accurate specimen labeling. Complete tasks on time and per deadlines, utilizing paper orders during computer service interruptions. Explain Medicare ABNs and send-out test requirements clearly to patients. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 1:00pm.
