Job Summary
Operate a full-size commercial van to transport staff, supplies, and equipment while following DOT guidelines. Travel to local collection sites to load/unload supplies, perform site setup, and conduct donor screening, mini-physicals, and phlebotomy. Monitor donors for reactions, provide care, and coordinate with host organizations. Manage automation systems, recruit donors, rebook appointments, and maintain product integrity and equipment. Work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to use computer applications.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- GED
- Valid drivers' license
- prior driving experience
- Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts and information and/or the use of simple equipment, machines and materials
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Standard Operating Procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other department manuals
- basic mathematical aptitude

- Flexibility to work independently and with a team

- Vehicle navigation system
- Personal Computer (desktop, laptop, tablet)
- General office equipment (computer, printer, fax, copy machine)
- Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Screening equipment including: Lancet, Sphygmomanometer (BP cuff), Temperature probe, Hemoglobin analyzer
- Phlebotomy collection equipment including: Blood mixer, Trima
- evening, weekend, and holiday hours
