Job Summary
Welcome donors, perform blood draws under Medical Director guidance, and operate medical equipment while maintaining strict infection control. Manage donor information in the BECS system, verify inventory needs, and educate volunteers on donation types and benefits. Provide outstanding customer service at mobile units and donor centers, ensuring a positive experience through warm interactions and clear explanations of the process. Adhere to safety procedures, including blood and body fluid precautions, and complete prescribed training programs to perform phlebotomy tasks. Requires a car, valid license, and willingness to travel on a flexible schedule.
