Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient information and process billing information and payments as required. Provide superior customer service to all patients and handle administrative and clerical duties. Travel to additional sites when needed and complete other duties as assigned. Work Monday through Friday from 6:15am-2:45pm with rotating Saturdays. Requires Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
