Job Summary
Phlebotomist – St. Charles Hospital: draws quality blood samples from patients, prepares specimens for lab testing, and completes clerical duties including order entry, result look-up, and report generation. Responsibilities include labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing specimens; data entry and inventory/telephone duties; and providing professional customer service to patients and staff. Travel to off-site locations may be required. Requires a High School degree or GED; phlebotomy certification preferred but not required; one-year phlebotomy experience preferred; strong data-entry and clerical skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
